Chocolate Wedding Favors - Many brides and grooms take it upon themselves to distribute chocolate wedding favors to their guests as a token of appreciation. But why should the bride and groom be responsible for showering their guests with gifts? A wedding is meant to be a special day for the happy couple getting married not a day to distribute gifts to friends and family. The guests that attend your wedding should be happy for you, and not expect anything in return.
The I Do Foundation: This website specializes in charitable wedding favors & can offer lots of advice, options & suggestions. They also have a good stock of information about various charities & links to their registries. The Just Give Organization: This organization can give you some unique ways in which you can donate to charity through your wedding favors. You have the option of donating as a group on behalf of all your guests, in which case you will receive a PDF file to download & print & display at your reception so your guests can see the donation. Or you have the option of creating individual gift vouchers which can be redeemed with over 1 million charities worldwide.
There are two ways to distribute guest wedding favors. Wedding favors can be placed at each wedding reception guests place setting to take along whenever they leave or elegantly displayed on a table near the entrance to the wedding reception venue where the bridge and groom will be toward the end of the reception. As guests say goodbye to the couple, they can thank each guest for coming by giving them the favor or telling them to take one when they leave.
