2.Something for a Beach Theme: The old flip flop is great for summer barbeques and pool parties, beach parties and luaus or anything with a tropical theme. Pick up some groovy flip flops from a discount store, you can usually get the for a couple of dollars a pair. Neatly write the invitation on the sole with a marker pen, or use the flip flop as a template tracing around it on a piece of coloured card. Cut out the flip flop shape, write the invite using words like ‘dude and ‘aloha. Let the kids decorate the card by sprinkling sand like glitter around the edges before sticking onto the sole of the flip flop.
Events such as bridal showers also require thank you cards. Bridal shower thank you card wording should also keep within the theme of the event. If the shower was formal, with formal invitations and perhaps catering, the bridal shower thank you card wording should reflect that. The bride can generally write whatever she wishes on the inside of the card but the bridal shower thank you card wording thats printed on the front of the card should say something such as, \\"I am filled with gratitude for your presence at my bridal shower.\\" For something more casual such as a lingerie bridal shower, the bridal shower thank you card wording could say, \\"Thanks for coming to my shower; Im thrilled that you were there! To start my marriage off right, thanks for the underwear!\\"
A save the date is similar to an invitation and is mailed up to one year before the wedding date. Save the dates simply announce that the wedding date has been set and encourages recipients to plan for the event. It is not used as a substitute for the wedding invitation and typically mentions that an invitation will follow. The save the date can also allow you to let guests know what area of the country the wedding will be held. Save the Date cards are only necessary for weddings that occur on holidays or destination weddings. They are an optional piece for weddings not occurring on holidays or destination weddings.
