3.Invitation With a Bang: Balloons are a very inexpensive and very easy thing to use as an interesting invitation with an explosive effect. Write the invitation on a small piece of standard 80gsm paper, roll it up into a scroll and insert the invitation inside the balloon. Now blow it up or if possible, inflate with helium. Write ‘pop me on the balloon with a permanent marker. Imagine your child turning up at school with a bunch of balloons for all their friends to stomp on, great fun!
Usually, the maid of honor plans the bridal shower and sends out the invitation so she should keep some basic tenets in mind. First, the bride-to-be is a princess for a day. Second, send out invitations 2 weeks ahead of time to give everyone time to prepare. Third, dont invite guests to the shower if theyre not invited to the wedding, for obvious reasons. Fourth, plan to have the shower in the afternoon. Fifth, use board games and other games to help the guests get to know each other. Sixth, dont pressure the guests into giving expensive gifts if they cant afford them. Cheap gifts can be just as good and functional. Include a list of inexpensive items on the registry for cash-strapped bridal shower guests. Seventh, choose a few good movies that all the girls will love to watch. These are especially fun at the end of the night after a few bottles of wine or champagne.
Match your kids birthday party invites on the party concept. If you are hosting a girls birthday party thats horse themed, form your invitations like horses. Consider stapling a mane and tail of crepe paper towards the invites to create them truly stand out. If you are hosing a pirate party, shape your invites as being a skull and cross bones. Or, alternatively, make your invitations glimpse like a treasure map. You are able to make the paper appear old like an historical map by squeezing some lemon juice on it and baking it within the oven.
